Three Pakistani boys, aged between 12 and 14 years, were held on Tuesday by BSF near the border here in Rajasthan after they crossed over into India apparently while looking for their missing cattle.

The boys identified themselves as Salim, Sajan and Saaval and said they trespassed the border while searching for their missing cattle, BSF Inspector General (Rajasthan) B R Meghwal said.

“Nothing objectionable was recovered from their possession,” he told PTI.

The IG said intelligence agencies were questioning the children and a decision about them will be taken only after the initial interrogation gets over.

The boys were found in Kuria Beri village in Jaisalmer district after they intruded through Kishangarh area this morning.

They were nabbed following a complaint from the villagers, BSF sources said.

BSF was holding talks with Pakistan Rangers and trying to send them back to their country after the due official formality, the sources said.
