After first list of 63 candidates, Congress released second list of 42 Congress candidates for Rajasthan Assembly polls. In the second list Danish Abrar, son of former Union Minister late Abrar Ahmed, and PCC spokesman Archana Sharma names are included.
Danish Abrar will have straight contest with Diya Singh of BJP from Sawai Madhopur, Archana Sharma will contest polls from Malviyangar in Jaipur city.
Among other candidates in the list, PCC General Secretary Jagdish Chand Jangir relaces the sitting party MLA will contest from Sadulshahar.
Former Minister Bhanwarlal Sharma is among several MLAs who have been renominated. With today’s list, the party has decided candidates for 105 seats and is yet to finalise 95 of the total 200 seats.
Congress is ruling Rajasthan which is expected to witness a keen contest with BJP trying hard to come back to power.
