Health Secretary and Mission Director Naveen Jain said that under the dial-am-ambulance service, a total of 1,442 vehicles including Emergency 108-Ambulance, Janani Express, base ambulance vehicle are operated.
He said that apart from these, the facilities of ambulances are being strengthened by adding 100 and new 108-ambulance vehicles instead of the neglected, unplugged ambulance vehicles of the service and the inability of the service.
