Rajasthan government today sought an increase in the number of flights to important destinations in the state such as Jaipur and Jodhpur besides making the newly-built Jaisalmer airport operational at the earliest.
Rajasthan’s Minister of Energy and Information & Public Relations Jitendra Singh also urged the civil aviation ministry to introduce a flight service for Haj pilgrims from Jodhpur airport.
He was speaking at the first conference of state’s Ministers of Civil Aviation here.
