Recommendations of 7th pay scales have been made in Rajasthan for giving pay and allowances similar to the Center to the State employees. These recommendations have been made by the Samanta Committee formed by the government in its report. This report has been handed over to the Secretary (Finance) Manju Rajpal, on Monday.
With this, 8 lakh 55 thousand employees of the state and 2.5 lakh pensioners have increased the benefits of Diwali before the 7th Pay Commission benefits. A wave of happiness has been triggered only by the news of the committee’s report being submitted to the government employees awaiting the 7th pay scale in Rajasthan.
Let the State Government constitute a three-member committee under the chairmanship of DC Samant, former officer of the Indian Administrative Service, to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission in February. Based on the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, this committee has evaluated the revised pay scales, allowances and financial burden on the government for the state employees.
DK Mittal and MP Dikshit (former officer of Rajasthan Accounts Service) were included in the committee constituted in accordance with the Deputy Secretary (Finance) Dr. Prem Singh Charan. The committee had to submit its report to the government in three months but now the reports are being submitted in September.
Formerly it was believed that after getting the report, the government can take around 2 to 3 months to implement the pay scale. But it is now being speculated that the government can implement it even before Diwali on October 19.
