Three students from the state have made it to the top 15 in the All India Law Entrance Test the results for which were announced on Wednesday. The exam is conducted for National Law University, Delhi.
Tarun Agarwal, who passed out from Jaipuria School, and has secured 9th All India Rank (AIR) said, “I always wanted to become a legal expert. This success has brought me closer to my dream.”
Around 13,000 students appeared in the exam against 80 seats. Aayush Agarwal from Jaipur and Daksh Kaushik from Jodhpur have secured the 12th all India rank. In the reserved category for ST, Rahul Kawat, a student of Kendriya Vidhyalaya 2 has bagged second position (AIR).
“Law is gaining prominence in the state. Every year an increasing number of students are taking the entrance test and also securing seats in top law universities,” said Navneet Singh Purohit of Law Prep Tutorial adding that rising job opportunities and fat salary packages are attracting high scorers to law.
Meanwhile, the results for the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) are scheduled for May 30.
