As the voting date coming near, both BJP, Congress leaders speeds the election campaigns and rallies in poll-bound Rajasthan. Once again Rajasthan people will see rallies of BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday in Ajmer and Sikar respectively.

In support of Modi, Arun Jaitley while talking to reporters in the state, said, “we have a winning combination in Rajasthan: leadership of Vasundharaji and PM candidate Modiji.”

On Monday, Modi had launched an attack on Congress while addressing a rally in Khetri, he had said,”How will a government that can’t save the rupee, save industries. All round development requires equal attention on all the three sectors- agriculture, industry and the service sector. State government has done nothing for them. Will you bring such government to power again. Let us see what falls first, the rupee or Centre’s honour.” He further accused central government of suffering from policy paralysis.

While citing the works done by his predecessors in the party, he had honoured former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. “It was Atal Bihari Vajpayee who conducted nuclear tests. There were international sanctions, a weak leader would have been scared, but not BJP. Atal ji did not let value of the rupee fall, economy was strong in his rule. But see what is happening today under economist PM,” he had said while appealing to uproot the Congress from every corner of Rajasthan and make BJP win in every booth.

He was quick to retaliate to Sonia’s  ‘BJP is poisonous remark’ during her Kota rally, as soon as he took to the stage in another rally in Banswara the same day. He said “Madam’s Shehzada once said in Jaipur that his mother told him that power is poison. They ruled the country for almost 50 years since Independence…then who has tasted poison for a longer period…it is Congress…then who else can be more poisonous (than Congress).”

As passing of each day brings close December 1-  the D-day for all political parties aiming for a win in Rajasthan assembly polls, Narendra Modi’s attack against state and central Congress leadership and his appeal to voters to vote for BJP has assumed a fiercer tone. Rajasthan voters will see yet another sharp pitch by him on Wednesday as they gather in Ajmer to attend his rally.
