Supreme Court have announced the revised schedule of the RPMT Examination 2014 and has issued order to issue notification for the examination before July 5 and the examination shall be held before July 25.
The order of the Supreme Court came on an interlocutory petition filed by the state government for a new schedule following complaints of anomalies on the online test conducted from May 28 to 30. A single bench of the Rajasthan High Court had quashed the results announced on June 5 on a bunch of writ petitions filed by unsuccessful candidates questioning the method adopted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences for the test.
Aishwarya Bhati, advocate of candidates who were unsuccessful, said: “A three-judge bench comprising Justice HL Dattu, Justice MY Eqbal and Justice SA Bobde of the Supreme Court ordered the state government to issue notification of RPMT before July 5, to conduct the exam before July 25 and to declare results before August 1.”
The high court had found the online examination in batches with different question papers and a large number of wrong questions and ‘equi percentile system’ adopted by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences to equate the wrong questions, questionable.
