Bollywood actors R Madhavan, Tusshar Kapoor and producer Krishika Lulla were in for a major surprise at the Jaipur airport when they got to know, much to their consternation, that their booking was for economy class.
As a result, the three of them refused to travel in economy class to Mumbai. Reportedly both the actors with Lulla reached Jaipur on Sunday morning to walk down the ramp for Lulla’s elder brother Ramesh Dembla who showcased his collection at the Rajasthan Fashion Week’s (RFW) grand finale on Sunday.
Their tickets were booked for Air India Flight number AI615 which was supposed to take off at 1.30 pm. When both the actors with Lulla reached Jaipur’s Sanganer Airport on Monday afternoon to catch their Mumbai flight, they came to know about the situation. Upset with this, Madhavan and Tusshar refused to board the airbus. Krishika who was traveling too with them got their tickets changed from economy class to business class. As all the bookings were done by RFW organizers for their stay, travel and airfare, the guests got to know about it only after reaching the airport. Feeling humiliated and embarrassed with the attitude of the organizers, Krishika herself got the tickets booked again for business class and paid from her own pocket since the actors came on her invite to walk for her brother.
On being contacted Krishika confirmed, “It was my brother’s show and Tusshar and Madhavan came to support him. Since they were my guests, it was my responsibility to take care of them. I got their tickets upgraded from economy to business class and sorted out the entire episode.” However, the travel agent Chirag had a different story to tell us. He said, “There were no tickets available in the business class and we had already informed the organizers about it. We even booked economy class ticket for Sameera Reddy, but she didn’t make any fuss about it.”
