Yoga guru Baba Ramdev is in Jaipur and decide to perform yoga with huge counts around 10 crore people on Martyr’s Day. Baba Ramdev also ready to launch a door-to-door campaign in support of Narendra Modi’s candidature for the prime minister’s post.
On March 23, Ramdev will lead the yoga shivir at New Delhi where 10 lakh people are expected to join him. “We are targeting about 1 lakh people in each district and aiming to involve 10 crore people across the country. When so many people will perform yoga, India’s prestige and reputation as a spiritual leader will enhance” said Ramdev. Death anniversary of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on March 23 is celebrated as Martyr’s day.
For a change in the government and system, Ramdev claimed that volunteers of his orgnaisation will visit 20 crore homes from March 24. They will touch upon 30 crore voters in the country and urge them to vote in favour of Modi.
“We have sound organization which will be used to mobilize people. Our only aim is to establish strong government at centre under leadership of Modi,” added Ramdev. Yoga guru asserted that in upcoming polls Congress will not be able to win more than 60 seats and both Rahul and Sonia Gandhi will loose elections.
Revealing that some of the cabinet ministers and Congress MP are also in touch with him and ready to switch sides. “Some ministers contacted me and requested to lobby for the BJP tickets. We will certainly ask BJP to put contestants in fray who may not have political background but have a clean image and strong reputation in their areas,” said Ramdev.
On question Arvind Kejriwal’s impact in LS elections, Ramdev asserted that his one month’s performance have been discouraging and people will not like to vote for him. Though he clarified that if he performs well he may win about 10 seats. But will not be a challenge for Modi.
He will also hold talks with Rajasthan CM to include yoga as a compulsory subject in schools.
