The online admission process in the University of Rajasthan (RU) this year is running smoothly, receiving good response and has reportedly witnessed fewer technical halts, compared to last year. Even on Monday, the website generated over 670 admission forms. The forms can be submitted in person by June 29 while the students can generate online forms without late fee until June 26.

After Maharani’s College declared first cut-off a few days back, RU’s Commerce College also declared its first cut-off on Monday. In the first list, the cut-off percentage for BCom (Pass) for general category was 86.6% while for OBC, it was 76.05%. Likewise, for SC it was 68% and ST 64%.

In the first list, total 373 students were admitted in BCom while 109 each were admitted in BBA and BCA. “Of the total 825 seats in BCom (Pass), admissions on 633 seats were given (including 260 direct and 373 through cut-off) while the remaining 192 seats will be filled soon. We also declared the cut-off of BBA and BCA courses on Monday,” said Prof Nirmal K Kumbhat, principal, Commerce College.

He added that the cut-off of honours subject will be declared later.  The students will now have to deposit the fees by June 29.
