Rajasthan High Court turns down the plea of Salman Khan in the Case of Black-Buck. Rajasthan HC has given directions to a lower court to take on record the notice issued by the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Greater Mumbai to Bollywood actor Salman Khan in 1999 in a case under the Arms Act relating to the black buck poaching incident. Khan’s Lawyer  HM Saraswat says that the court turned down Khan’s plea to summon the official as a witness .

“We wanted this notice to be considered by the court during the hearing and this order of HC would help us in proving that the (weapon) licence of Khan was valid during the alleged incident of poaching of two Black Bucks in Jodhpur on October 1-2, 1998,” He added.

Saraswat says that "on Wednesday while hearing the petition, justice Banwari Lal Sharma directed the lower court to take the document on record and consider the same during the final hearing in the case, which is scheduled for Thursday,"
