The first Textile Park dedicated to hand block printing and craft was recently inaugurated at Bagru near Jaipur, Rajasthan. Union Minister of Textile, Dr KS Rao, who inaugurated the park at the event under the leadership of Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stated that the park would bring in new opportunities for exporters and artisans in Rajasthan. The park has been named as Jaipur Integrated Texcraft Park Pvt. Ltd. (JITPPL) and is also known as Jaipur Bloc. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stated that the textile industry has a major contribution in the economy of the state and the country.
