The final cut-off list for admission in Commerce College and second cut-off list for eight honours courses at the Rajasthan College was declared on Friday.
Surprisingly, in Commerce College, the difference in the cut-off per cent between the first and the last list was a mere 2.8 per cent in the B.Com (pass course) in general category, while similar was the trend in other categories too.
In the third and final cut-off list for BCom (pass course), it was 83.8 per cent in general category, while it was 86.6 per cent in the first list. Likewise, it was 75.20 per cent in OBC. Similarly, in SBC it was 67.20 per cent and in SC, it was 62.40 per cent. In BBA, the cut-off per cent in general category ended at 60 per cent, while in OBC, it was 55.20 per cent at third list.
For BCom (ABST Honours), the admission ended with the declaration of second cut-off list on Friday.
In the general category, the cut-off per cent came down to 80 from 85.6 per cent as compared to the first list, while in OBC, the percentage declined from 76.4 to 71.4 per cent. In SC and ST catagory, the percentage was 59 and 50 per cent respectively.
“There is not a major difference of cut-off percentage between the first and the last list. However, in direct admission the highest percentage reported was 95.6 per cent. Now, the college has closed its admissions with a total of 759 students being given admissions. Last date to deposit fee is July 10 and we will not entertain any query thereafter,” said Nirmal Khumbhat, principal, Commerce College.
It is notable that the highest percentage in Commerce College was at 95.6 per cent for the BCom (pass course) and large number of students was admitted through direct admissions this year in the college, who scored above 87 per cent.
Admission in the evening college will begin from July 11 and those students who got admission in morning college can deposit their fees by July 10.
In Rajasthan College, BA honours (Geography) course cut off closed at 72 per cent for general category. Cut offs were 70.40 per cent and 66.20 per cent for OBC and SBC category respectively. It is 62.20 per cent and 69 per cent for SC and ST respectively.
