Udaipur is set to have its own Science city. The Science Centre will be constructed over an area of 6.4 Hectare in the area behind Shilpgram at an estimated cost of Rs. 10 Cr.
UIT has already constructed an 18-meter wide road to facilitate movement. Work is expected to start the new year and will take 27 months for completion.
Project Officer, Manish Jain, informed that blueprint for the entire setup is ready and the set up is being designed along the lines of Jaipur science city.
The center will have the 7-D movie theater and MP theater. Via these theaters, science lovers will be able to unravel mysteries related to space, forest, nature etc. As part of the entertainment, fun science galleries employing principles of mathematics, computer science, IT, biology, chemistry etc will also be setup.
