Even as a sudden downpour threatened to play spoilsport last Sunday evening in Jaipur, there was no stopping the people from attending Bollywood singer Mika’s live performance. And the moment Mika took centre stage in the open air enclosure with his first hit song ‘Sawan Me Lag Gayi Aag’, he simply had the audiences jiving to this peppy number. The tempo had been set.
The two-hour-long high octane performance of Mika left the local crowd asking for more. The singer enthralled the audience with some of his hits from recent times. Thousands of people gathered outside the venue to see him sing and many could be seen having a tough time getting an entry. Though the show began late by almost two hours due to the heavy rain, his fans turned out in full force.
As he belted out his famous songs like Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita, Dhun Lagi, Mauja Hi Mauja and Jugni, they all grooved to his music. On public demand, he also presented some of the evergreen hits of Kishore Kumar.
