Mercury dips in Rajasthan, Mount Abu remains coldest

Under the influence of northerly winds, there is fall in temperature at various parts of Rajasthan. Mount Abu remains coldest, records 4.4 degrees Celsius.

Udaipur recorded a minimum of 9 degrees, whereas Churu and Sriganganagar recorded 9.7 degrees Celsius each, a MeT officer said.

The night temperature varied between 10 and 14 degrees at many places including Jaipur, Ajmer, Pilani, Kota, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner districts, he said.

No major change in the existing climatic condition is expected in the next 24 hours in the state, the MeT forecast said.
