Bollywood star Katrina Kaif made a trip to seek the blessings of Sheikh Salim Chishti at his dargah today morning and expressed her desire to shoot a song sequence in Fatehpur Sikri.
The 30-year-old actor visited the dargah at 6 in the morning and tied the sacred red thread for a wish there. It was Katrina’s fifth trip to the dargah, Arshad Faridi, son of peerzada Rais Mian Chishti, the sajjadanashin (religious head) of the Sheikh Salim Chishti dargah, told PTI.
Arshad said the actor is a devotee of Sheikh Salim Chishti and visits the dargah often to pray for the success of her films.
Katrina also expressed a desire to shoot a film at the dargah, he said, adding they would gladly grant her permission. The holy shrine has featured in films like ‘Garm Hawa’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Yateem’.
