Seventeen students from city have made it in top 25 ranks across India in the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) examination, the results of which were announced on Wednesday. The CS Foundation programme was conducted in June and results of foundation programmes (new syllabus) and foundation programme (old syllabus) were declared on Wednesday.
From Jaipur, 17 students have made it in top 25 rank in foundation programme (new syllabus), while four students have made it to the merit list of foundation programme (old syllabus). Of these 13 are girls.
It was a proud moment for Jaipur’s Sonu Rajawat who scored 10 AIR in the CS examination. She scored 308 marks out of 400. Similarly, Sonam Khandewal scored 11th rank cracking CS Foundation exam scoring 306 out of 400 while Ankita Jain got 12th AIR with 304 marks.
“I cannot express my feelings now. My family and I are extremely happy from the results. However, my aim is to become an IAS officer,” said Sonu while talking to dna.
Similarly, Jaipur’s Pragya Puri and Shaiphali Agarwal got 298 marks and ranked 15th in AIR.
Likewise, the 17th rank was shared by four students — Shahin Khan, Ankita Sharma, Bhoopendra Bohra and Mahendra Sharma — who secured 294 mark each. About 922 students cleared CS Foundation (new syllabus), while only 14 passed in foundation programme (old).
