The Hailstorms which occurred recently in this February will be given aid by the Rajasthan Govt. The Hailstorm had greatly affected the production and crops of the farmers in about 22 districts.
The state government will provide Rs 401 crore input subsidy to affected farmers. The announcement came soon after the Election Commission relaxed the modal code of conduct in the state.
“State disaster management and relief department (SDRM) allotted the amount on the basis of demands presented by the district administration,” said Kunjilal Meena, secretary, SDRM.
He asserted that due to code of conduct the distribution of money got delayed. As per the announcement.announcement. Ajmer will get Rs 8.69 crore, Alwar Rs 18 crore, Bhilwara Rs 1.5 crore, Baran Rs 10.9 crore and Sawai Madhopur will get 58.8 crore.
