Actor Farhan Akhtar will be seen as flagging off Jaipur Marathon 2014 on February 2. He played the role of legendary athlete Milkha Singh in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, has received many praises and accolades for his brilliant performance in the biopic.
Apparently, he had worked really hard on his body and also practiced a lot in running to make his look authentic for the film.
And now, seeing Farhan’s amazing act in ‘BMB’, the organizers of Jaipur Marathon have called him to flag off the race.
A source close to the actor reveals, “The organizers of the marathon were impressed by Farhan and wanted him to be part of the initiative.”
Farhan eventually accepted the invitation and is very excited for the sporting event.
When contacted, Farhan’s spokesperson confirmed the news saying, “Farhan will be flagging off the marathon in Jaipur on February 2, 2014.”
Meanwhile, Akhtar is right now busy with the pre-release activities of his upcoming film ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. The film which features him opposite Vidya Balan is scheduled to hit the theaters on February 28, 2014. It’s directed by Saket Chaudhary.
