Congress on Monday accused the BJP government in Rajasthan of misusing funds for its Resurgent Summit, slated to be held in November.
"In last 20 months of its rule, the BJP government had not done a single development work, and in the garb of Resurgent Summit, it was misusing government money on publicity and other matters", Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee's vice-president Archana Sharma said in a statement here.
BJP government was “misleading” people of the state in the name of foreign investment which it was expecting during Resurgent Summit in November, she charged.
Only road works and beautification works were under taken in the name of the summit in Jaipur’s VVIP roads and hotel areas, she said.
There should be a fair probe in the corruption measures which were taken up by the state agencies for spending huge money for the proposed summit, she said.
