Jodha Akbar, an upcoming TV series, recently had a shooting schedule at Sawai Madhopur’s Nahargarh Haveli for almost a week. The show, which is being helmed by Ekta Kapoor’s production house will see Rajat Tokas (of Prithvi Raj Chauhan fame) as Akbar and Paridhi Sharma (seen in Ruk Jaana Nahi) as Jodha.
“Around nine girls from Jaipur have been roped in for this television series,” informs Hema Meena, one such artiste, who will be playing the role of Jodha’s confidante. According to sources, the team had a marathon shoot to meet the deadline.
Shooting for this TV series was Parag Tyagi, of Pavitra Rishta fame. The actor was pleasantly surprised when his girlfriend Shefali Zariwala dropped in to meet him. The duo who have been dating for almost a year, were not able to spend quality time of late, so Shefali thought of giving Parag a surprise. “Paas busy with his shoots for Jodha Akbar. So when I was done with my performance in Delhi, I dropped in at his hotel, spent a couple of hours with him and then left for my performance in Agra,” said Shefali.
