Rajasthan Administrative Service Exams Cancelled , Paper Were Leaked

Rajasthan Public Service Commission on Thursday cancelled RAS-Pre examination held in October last year after Special Operation Group burst a gang which had leaked the paper.The special operations group (SOG) of state police on Wednesday busted a gang involved in leaking question papers of various exams conducted by Rajasthan Public Services Commission (RPSC).

The exam will now be re-conducted in two months and the dates will be finalised in a couple of days, Thakral said. An internal analysis of the result, which was announced recently, led to the burst of the gang which had leaked the papers to some candidates who cleared the exams.

The agency arrested seven persons, out of which three had cracked the preliminary of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam held in October last year. The SOG also seized Rs 10.50 lakh, one pistol and 15 cartridges from the accused.

The gang leaking examination paper for RAS (prelims) was headed by Amrit Lal Meena, a lecturer at government college in Karauli and Sanjiv Meena, a probationary officer at a nationalized bank in Churu.
