Jaipur and Bikaner city of Rajasthan witnessed light rainfall which had relieved the city from rising temperature. The rain and thunderstorm has made mercury to drop down and has left people little relaxed from rising heat in the state.
The two divisions saw a fall in the temperature by one to seven degrees, according to a MeT report here. Jalore was the hottest place in the state, registering a day temperature of 44 degree Celsius.
Barmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota and Churu recorded maximum temperatures of 43.6, 43.3, 42.5, 42.4 and 42 degree Celsius, respectively.
The state capital recorded a maximum of 37.4 degrees, seven degrees down as compared to yesterday.
