For the upcoming Lok Sabha Election in Rajasthan State more than 2 lakhs voters have registered themselves in the voter list of which mostly ae from Jaipur city.
During the one-day camp on March 9, the election office received 2,74,325 applications for inclusion of names in voter list, Chief Election Officer Ashok Jain said today.
People in Alwar, Ajmer, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara and other districts also applied for enrolment as voters, Jain said.
