Kishangarh Firing Range will ready for holding 44th inter-frontier shooting competition where over 600 officers and jawans of all the 13 frontiers of Border Security Force demonstrate their firing powers. BSF shooting competition in Jaisalmer will held between February 11 and 14. The shooting competition of the BSF will be inaugurated on February 11 by IG, BSF, Rajasthan Frontier, P C Meena. The preparations of the competition have been started.
According to PC Meena, apart from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Srinagar, Jammu, Punjab, North Bengal, South Bengal, Thiruvananthapuram, Manipur, Meghalaya and Nagaland, Assam, Tripura Kacchara and Delhi frontier headquarters will participate in this shooting competition.
He said that a Khel Gaon (sports village) will be set up near Kishangarh with tents for the officers and jawans coming to participate in this event. Meena said special DG, east, BD Sharma will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony on February 14. Generally this shooting competition is held at Hazaribagh and Indore range, but for the second time, it is being held in Rajasthan frontier.
