Rajasthan seen a temperature drop in major places. A drop in both minimum and maximum temperatures is measured at different parts of state. Inspite of the minimum temperatures across the state were higher compared to last five years, Met office predicts that from November 20 onwards cold wave conditions will intensify in the state. Mount Abu and Churu recorded coldest minimum temperatures of 6.0 and 8.9 degrees Celsius.
Jaipurities woke up to the coldest day of the season so far with a minimum temperature of 12.0 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal. Afternoon provided some respite with maximum temperatures climbing up to 27.2 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 90%. Since no fog or mist was reported, the vehicular traffic was smooth in the city.
Mount Abu and Churu were followed by Sriganganagar that recorded a minimum temperature of 9.3 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 13.0, Jaisalmer 13.2, Udaipur, Barmer and Bikaner 13.4 each, Ajmer 13.5 and Kota recorded a minimum temperature of 14.4 degrees Celsius.
