In Jaipur, areas like Central Park witnessed a deserted look during early morning hours which otherwise were thronged by fitness freaks going for a morning walk.

The continued ground frost has increased the worries of farmers in villages as they apprehend that it may damage the crop. In the evening, a heavy rush of people was seen at restaurants, tea stalls.

At least two early morning Delhi-bound flights were diverted to Jaipur airport, causing troubles to passengers. A crowd of passengers were also seen at various airline counters seeking to know about their departure timings as the Delhi-bound flights from Jaipur took off late than expected.

Likewise, fog in Delhi and Haryana continued to play spoilsport to the trains coming to various parts of the state including Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur. At least 24 early morning trains to Jaipur arrived late. The railway authorities said that due to the prolonged spell of cold wave there has been a 30% increase in cancellation tickets.

Meanwhile, the intense weather has seen a dip in the number of attendances in city colleges and universities. Many classes saw presence of very few students forcing teachers to suspend classes.
