Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot (in picture) has decided not to host the annual Iftaar party at his residence in view of the Uttarakhand natural disaster in which 500 people from the State are yet to be traced. The Diwan of Ajmer Dargah has appealed to people and political parties to refrain from hosting Iftaar parties. Syed Zainul Abedeen Ali Khan — Diwan of the shrine of 12th century Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti — has appealed to people to use their substantial Iftaar budgets to help the victims.
