Ahead of the upcoming Assembly Elections in Rajasthan, the ruling Congress will on Saturday begin its three-month long ‘Sandesh Yatra’.

Notably, BJP state chief Vasundhara Raje is also set to start ‘Suraaj Sankalp Yatra’ from April 04, 2013.

To be flagged off by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Congress’ yatra to all constituencies will draw people’s attention to the government’s achievements and flagship schemes.

The yatra is expected to conclude by June 30 and might see Gehlot, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the party’s vice president Rahul Gandhi addressing some rallies.

The Assembly Elections in Rajasthan are scheduled for later this year.
