Temperature at Kota Record Breaking 46.5 Degree

Kota in Rajasthan faced one of the hottest days in 3 year with record breaking 46.5 degrees Celsius in the month of May.Jaipur recorded maximum temperature of 44.7 degrees Celsius, a little less than 45.4 degrees Celsius that it witnessed on Thursday. The Met department has predicted that there would be no respite and temperature may remain the same.

B N Bishnoi, Met director said, “Temperature may go up in the coming days. It could touch 47 degrees Celsius.” Heat wave conditions continued to prevail in most parts of the state as weather remained mainly dry. Jhalawar and Bundi were the hottest places in the state touching 47 degrees Celsius.

In Ajmer, intense heat disturbed normal life, as the temperature recorded 42.1. Ajmer also faced power outage and less water supply. On the intervening night on Friday the city faced complete blackout due to heavy winds.

However, Udaipur found some respite from heat. Here the maximum temperature was 40.6 degrees Celsius on Friday, a little less than 43 that it witnessed for the last three days.
