The last date for downloading admission forms of Rajasthan University undergraduate courses has again been extended till June 26. This means that students applying for all undergraduate courses in constituent colleges of RU can submit application forms till Wednesday.
The last date for submitting hard copy with the challan has been extended till June 29. Likewise, date for downloading entrance test forms for postgraduate courses has also been extended till June 25 and last date for submitting challan is June 28.
The move came due to slight dip in the admission forms so far. Till Saturday evening, RU has generated 33,948 forms against 52,901 forms last year. RU is hoping that with the extension, more students will apply and will come close to the last year’s figure.
So far, Maharani’s College is leading with 11,127 forms, Maharaja’s College has received 8,076 forms, Rajasthan College 6,729 forms and Commerce College 5,242 forms. The most popular subject turned out to be B Sc pass course with 9,482 forms being submitted followed by BA pass course with 8,668 forms.
The extended date will give a last chance to a few certificate and diploma courses like Certificate in medical astrology and Persian which not even found forms in touching second digit.
