Visibility drops down due to heavy fog in Rajasthan

Cold wave engulfs Northern India with dense fog affects daily life in Rajasthan. From the Thursday morning, Rajasthan witness extensive fog in the morning. Visibility levels have been dropped below 800 meters now due to dense fog.

Almost entire Rajasthan leading to a significant drop in day temperatures. Parts of the state witnessed ‘cold-day’ conditions as the temperatures went down below 16 °C. In Jodhpur, the maximum temperature dropped to 18.8 °C on Thursday, which is 8 °C below normal. Ganganagar was 11 °C below normal at 11.9 °C, while Bikaner was 7 °C below normal. With morning minimums ranging between 7 °C to 9 °C, the diurnal variation is just about 3 °C.
