After a landslide win in Rajasthan Assembly Polls, BJP’s chief minister candidate in Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje will take oath on Dec 13. She met Governor Margaret Alva on Tuesday and staked claim to form the government in the state.

This would be second time that Raje is to be the chief minister of the state. Her first chief ministerial stint in the desert state was from 2003 to 2008.

The BJP legislature party on Monday unanimously elected Vasundhara Raje as its leader. She is also the president of the party’s state unit.

The BJP on Sunday recorded a thumping victory in Rajasthan, ending five years of the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress rule.
