Swine Flu toll climbs to 251

In the last 48 hours eight more persons succumbed to swine flu in different parts of Rajasthan, taking the toll due to the H1N1 virus in the state to 251 this year, an official of Medical and Health Directorate (MHD) said on Friday.

Out of 5,262 patients who were tested positive for the HINI virus, 251 have died since January 1 this year, an official of state Medical and Health Directorate Said yesterday.

Jaipur has recorded the maximum deaths with the toll rising to 51 followed by Ajmer 29, Jodhpur 28, Nagaur 23, Barmer 19, Kota 11, Pali 10, Chittorgarh and Sikar 8 each, Banswara and Bhilwara six each, and one to four at many places in the state.
