Sine Flue: No Morning assemblies in Schools

Morning assemblies in schools have been banned till month-end in Rajasthan because of Swine Flu. With five more persons succumbing to swine flu, toll of the disease-related deaths in Rajasthan has climbed to 67 on wednesday.

The district education officers received directions from divisional offices of the department today. This was a preventive step, officials said. The death tolls related to the disease is highest in the Rajasthan.

A health officer on wenesday said that Chief minister Vasundhara Raje held a high-level review meeting with medical officers late last night and directed them to set up a task-force at state, division and district levels to contain the spread of the disease and create awareness,

Out of 33 districts, 29 are afflicted with swine flu while Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Sirohi, and Baran were said to be safe as per the Medical and Health Directorate (MHD) records,
