Respite from the Cold Conditions in Rajasthan

On Saturday cold condition abated in entire Rajasthan as mercury picked an upward trend, giving respite to people from the cold waves.

A MeT department report said that Sriganganagar recorded the lowest temperature of 10.3 degrees Celsius, Mercury has risen by one to five degree Celsius during night at all places giving respite to people in the state.

Udaipur recorded a minimum temperature of 10.8 degrees Celsius followed by Mount Abu at 11.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature ranged between 12 and 17.7 degrees C at all other places including Jaipur, Ajmer, Pilani, Kota, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Churu and Bikaner.
The maximum temperature in Jodhpur, Barmer and Jaisalmer ranged between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius. A weather forecast says that the temperature will further rise in next 24 hours.
