After the Central Govt announcement of hike in DA, Rajasthan government follows the same path and announced 10 per cent hike in dearness allowance of the state employees.
DA was 90 per cent and now 7 lakh employees and 3 lakh pensioners will get 100 per cent DA.
The decision will be affective from January 1, 2014 and will cause additional burden of Rs 1,250 crore to exchequer, a release said.
