Rajasthan University new VC teaching PG students

Dr Madhukar Gupta would be creating history when he teaches public administration to the Rajasthan University’s (RU) post-graduate students on Thursday. Dr Madhukar Gupta, newly-appointed RU vice-chancellor, is all set to become the first sitting V-C in RU’s history who will teach the students in classroom.

Ever since this news reached the RU students that new V-C Dr Madhukar Gupta will take the classes as teacher, they became very curious and enthusiastic to see him in their classroom of the Department of Public Administration on Thursday when he will teach students from 10 to 11 am.

According to the university PRO, recently some senior teachers of the department held a meeting with the V-C on some issues. During the course of discussion with the teachers, the V-C expressed his desire to teach the students in the post-graduate classes.

It is noteworthy that Dr Gupta has Master’s Degree in Public Administration from worldwide prestigious Harvard University, USA and similarly he also did his post-graduation from Syracuse University, USA in Public Policies. He also has to his credit the Doctorate Degree in Development Economics. Moreover, he has been disciple of renowned Economist and noble laureate Prof Amartya Sen. He has also associated in teaching and study in various reputed higher education Institutions across the world.
