Filmmaker and actress Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter today to lash out against the National Students’ Union Of India (NSUI) who she accused of threatening to shut down her ongoing film shoot in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

“50-75 ppl claiming to be from NSUI have barged into Central Jail Udaipur shouting slogans against me threatening to shut down my shoot,” Ms Bhatt tweeted.

“If I were alone I would tackle them HEADON! But I happen to have a unit of 100 I am responsible for equipment as well,” she further wrote.

While the union members were dispersed by the cops and Ms Bhatt resumed shooting the flick, she further wrote on Twitter: “I am being made a scapegoat by warring political parties who’s clamour for power is inducing this goon like behaviour!”

“If the NSUI,comprised of supposed ‘students’ can behave like rabid dogs it’s time to disband them and burn down all the universities,” she added.

The news comes just two days after Ms Bhatt lashed out against a top cop who she accused of misbehaving with her film crew there.

Ms Bhatt had tweeted that the Udaipur Superintendent of Police or SP, Hariprasad Sharma, had “barged onto our set, manhandled my unit and got extremely abusive”.

Mr Sharma, however, denied the charges. Mr Sharma said that the film crew, shooting for Ms Bhatt’s upcoming film, Bad, at the Udaipur Collectorate had denied him entry to his office, which is on the first floor of the building.

“The crew members were adamant…They were not allowing me to enter my chamber and asked me to speak to Mahesh Bhatt over the phone. Though they had permission for shooting here they cannot stop us from entering our chamber,” Mr Sharma said.

However, Ms Bhatt maintained that the officer had used abusive language and threatened her team.

“He was requested to wait for two minutes but he threatened and also used abusive language,” Ms Bhatt told reporters in Udaipur.

The two parties managed to resolve their differences soon and the SP was later allowed entry into his office.
