More than 12000 students vote in Union election in Udaipur

More than 12,000 students will vote in the union elections in two varsities in Udaipur Mohanlal Sukhadia University and Maharana Pratap University for Agriculture and Technology. While there are 8,922 voters registered for MLSU elections, for the agriculture varsity polls, 3207 students will cast their votes. The canvassing came to halt at 6 pm on Thursday.

The polling for both the unions will begin at 8 am and continue till 1 pm. Counting will start at 3 noon and results are expected to be declared by 8pm. Both the varsities gave a final touch for the polling preparations. The police and district administration are on alert against chances of any violence.
