After the five years stop in the work progress of Organized Archery, Shooting and Equestrian Sports (OASES) complex in Jaipur, new Rajasthan government will resume its construction.

After the chief minister reviewed infrastructure projects on Monday, officials were directed to initiate the work. Principal secretary, UDH, DB Gupta said: “We will soon invite fresh bidding to complete the remaining work. ”

The project was initiated under the previous BJP government. Due to stalled work, the structure was deteriorating. There have been several incidents of thefts and rainwater over the past four years has corroded the walls and exposed material at the arena polo complex.

In order to provide relief to the plot owners staying in unregularised colonies, the state government has extended ‘Prashasan Sehron Ke Sang’ camps till March 31. The residents can submit their applications till January 31 to procure land deeds. “The camps will be discontinued after the enforcement of model code of conduct.” Gupta added.

The wait for the residents of Prithviraj Nagar Scheme (PRN) continues to grow long as regularization work will be now done after seeking consent with the local member of legislative assembly. The MLAs after discussing with residents will decide the allotment and development rates of the area.
