Jaipur International Film Festival – JIFF , emerges as a much talked about film festival on the world platform

JIFF in Mumbai recently decided at a meeting that school and college students will be made a part of JIFF on a larger scale. JIFF will soon launch a creative contest which would provide a greater platform to their talents. keeping this in mind there will be separate programs for children and youth.

JIFF decided to work on eliminating the negative views that the people and the government hold towrds film and cinema. They plan to work on the view that the government towards the film industry.

Jiff’s Chairman and Rang De Basanti film writer Kamlesh Pandey said that film has now become a profession and people should view it in a professional way. Work process will change only when the perspective of the people will change.

He said that there will be a focus on bringing back rthe lost villages in the cinemas. A part of the JIFF will be held in the villages from this year and will gradually be expanded.

The last date for film submissions for ZIFF 2016 is October 10. Film Makers can send their short film, documentary film, animation, feature film and screenplay at the festival.

The Board spokesman of JIFF Rajendra Bora said that the thgis five days festival will be held from 2nd to 6th January. This year the visitors can see the films for free.
