Icy winds sweep northern Rajasthan,

For the fourth consecutive day icy winds sweep northern and western part of Rajasthan. Mount Abu experiencing the freezing point last night. An Officer of NWR says "Thirteen trains were running late and three other train were rescheduled". Rail and road services affected in rajasthan because of fog in neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi.

Upper layer of Nakki Lake in Mount Abu showed frozen patches, and trees bore icles. Whereas on plains, people in Bikaner shivered at 2.4 degrees Celsius, about five degrees below normal last night, according to a Met Report.

Despite clear sky, people in Jaipur experienced the coldest night with minimum temperature of 4.3 degrees Celsius, the lowest in the new year so far. There was however some respite due to bright sunshine and no fog conditions in the Pink City. 

A forcast said there is no respite in icy wind pattern is expected in the next 24 Hrs.
