Dream Girl Hema Malini draws huge crowds in Jaipur

‘Dream Girl’ Hema Malini still rules in the hearts of millions. Star campaigner of BJP, Hema Malini drew huge crowds on Thursday while campainging for BJP party candidates at Civil Lines, Malviya Nagar and Adarsh Nagar areas of Jaipur city.

Hama Malini, the Bollywood actor turned politician has been campaigning in the state for the past three days.

Over 3,000 people holding BJP flags and banners welcomed her at the slum area of Tila No. 7, the constituency of Adarsh Nagar candidate Ashok Parnami.

“Vasundhara Raje is certainly your next chief minister and Parnami will remain your MLA for the second consecutive time. There is no iota of doubt in my mind that the leadership of Raje, Rajasthan will take a leap ahead in development,’ the actor said in Adarsh Nagar much to the jubilation of the crowd.

Asking people to come out in large numbers and along with their family to vote for BJP, she termed the policies of the Gehlot-led government as anti-development and antipoor . “Gehlot has de-accelerated the pace of development which Raje government made in 2008.”

BJP sources said demand for the actor to campaign had come from candidates of over 50 constituencies. She has superseded far more than other star campaigners including party president Rajnath Singh and other leaders like Shahnawaz Hussain, Arun Jaitley, Uma Bharti and the party’s chief ministerial candidate Vasundhara Raje in terms of likes on campaign pictures posted on Raje’s Facebook page ‘Vasundhara Raje for Rajasthan CM.’

One of the actor’s photograph while addressing a rally at Viratnagar received 24,416 likes in 22 hours till 8pm of Wednesday. Hussain’s photograph touched 8,700 likes followed by 7,700 likes each for Rajnath Singh and Jaitley during a rally in Kotpulti.
