It is celebration time for Alwar. The Union government’s announcement of connecting Delhi to Alwar via Rewari and Bhiwadi by Metro train has been welcomed by the residents of Alwar.

Taking this announcement as a harbinger of a progressive Alwar, the real estate sector has put their upcoming projects on hold. They are hoping to see a surge in the demand for new townships rather than single units of residential buildings.

The civic authorities have also indicated to re-plan the extension of the city keeping in mind the Rapid Transit System.

Not only Alwar but even its towns such as Behror, Bhiwadi, Tapukada, Shahjahpur and Neemrana will see a lot of growth. The Metro route will have 19 stations between Alwar and Delhi with it embarking point at Sarai Kale Khan station in Delhi.
