97.5% in science by Kushal Babel From Udaipur Region

Kushal Babel who is from Udaipur and studied in MDS Senior Secondary School scored 97.5 % marks in Class XII exams whose results were declared recently. Babel’s consistent performance in all subjects made him highest scorer in science stream — he got 100 in chemistry, 98 in Maths, 97 in physics and 95 in English.

He is eyeing computer science in IITs. He has scored 345 in IIT Advance which is third highest in the country. Babel has several achievements to his credit. From scoring three ranks in IITs to winning silver medal at 9th International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) held at Tehran in 2012. 

From attaining All India 8th rank in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana in 2013 and recognized as KVPY fellow to recently clearing national standard examination in astronomy and selection to the Indian national astronomy Olympiad in 2014, Kushal has also proved his excellence in extra curricular activities.

Kushal got the news of his result in Mumbai in the late afternoon as he was part of Indian team preparing for Chemistry Olympiad. Over phone from Mumbai, he said: “I owe all my success to grandfather KL Babel who is an advocate and a social worker. I have learnt from him that success can be achieved by attempting one ambition at a time. It is my guiding tool.”
