31,800 teachers vacancies filled up soon in Rajasthan

“20,000 posts of teachers in third grade, 9,000 teachers in second grade and 2,800 lecturers will be filled up soon and RPSC has been asked to complete the task,” education minister B K Sharma told the House.

Ruling Congress government today told Rajasthan Legislative Assembly that over 31,000 vacant posts of teachers in different grades will soon be filled up to overcome the problem of faculty shortages in schools.

“20,000 posts of teachers in third grade, 9,000 teachers in second grade and 2,800 lecturers will be filled up soon and RPSC has been asked to complete the task,” education minister B K Sharma told the House.

The district collectors and district education officers have also been directed to adjust the faculty strength by shifting excess teachers to schools where vacancies were existing, the minister said.

During Zero Hour, on the issue of damaged roads in Jaipur due to heavy rains, Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal told the House that a budget of Rs 350 cr was earmarked to repair of damaged roads, and on new carpeting for Jaipur alone.

During Question Hour, Revenue Minister Hemaram Choudhary assured the House that new districts would be constituted after receiving report from a high-level committee by October 31.

Replying to a question of a BJP MLA Nirmal Kumawat, the minister said there were demands to constitute 42 new districts in the state, and to settle the issue the high-level committee was set up on May 28, 2012 but its tenure was extended till October 31 2013.

Now a days normal centerline employee demanding raising retirement age imagine what should b with doctors lectures judges best our student look abroad to settel down coz of better socio economic growth stable environment .u must HV heared solgan school chale hum agar school me teacher hi nai hai tho safai karne Gaye hum school .private sector making enough profits and these politician gets money from them how kool and convienent rite bhaut kool log hai yea. Y should we hike retirement age 1:foremost is faculty crunch when say faculty crunch it has long term effect every which way possible .be it social economical political it affects everything negetaviely ask social science people 2: y do we HV faculty crunch coz teaching as profession has lost charm as occupation coz of poor economic standard and others it all b welcome move to attract youth to see dis as profession which should b fulfilling 3:professor, medical teachers ,judges they join in at much later stage i mean a professor or lecturer join in after completing NET SELECT entrance exam then phd tht too after post graduation which a long process they would b comfortably 26 -27 or more same vid doctors is it fair they retire with normal clerk type employee who gets to join at 22 or less they too retire at same age 4: average life expentecy has increased by five year since 2004 5:now when I say faculty crunch its at its peak dis faculty crunch imagine we hv 100 es of universites colleages lined up to b opened imagine wht would b the possible scence U can use these points i still lookin for stats i hope i come out vid true stats em lookin for it thank u
