On the fifth day of nominations in Rajasthan, 297 candidates filed their papers. Apart from 34 candidates of Congress, 57 candidates from BJP also filed their nomination papers in different Assembly constituencies for the December 1 elections in Rajasthan.
Among the major nominations filed on saturday were Congress candidates Ministers A A Khan (Tijara), Mangilal Garasia (Gogunda), parliamentary secretary Mamta Bhupesh (Sikrai).
From BJP, Digambar Singh (Deeg), Bhagwan Sahai Saini (Anta), Narpat Singh (Vidhyadhar Nagar), Surendra Pareek (Hawamahal), Suryakanta Vyas (Sursagar), among others, filed their nominations papers.
